Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service before using Parloy. By downloading, accessing, or using Parloy, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Please also read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect information.

1. Definitions

  • Service: The Parloy iOS app, website, and related features.
  • Account: A user account created to access Parloy.
  • Company: KNTC, Ruslan Sayfutdinov, Altenbacher Weg 18, 42799 Leichlingen, Germany.

2. The Service

Parloy helps you learn English through lessons, exercises, vocabulary practice, and progress tracking. Learning content, difficulty levels, and features may change as we improve the app. Parloy is an educational tool: we do not guarantee any particular learning outcome, test score, or level of language proficiency.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or the minimum age required for consent to data processing in your country. If you are younger, you may only use Parloy with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Accounts and Subscriptions

  • Account information: Provide accurate, complete, and current information.
  • Credentials: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • Subscriptions: Paid plans are sold as auto-renewing in-app purchases through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Managing your plan: You can manage or cancel a subscription in the Apple ID settings on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Trials: Free trials may be offered at our discretion. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid plan.
  • Refunds: Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled under Apple's App Store policies. You can also contact support@arbento.com and we will help where we can.

5. Responsible Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Parloy for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the service
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
  • Harass, impersonate, or harm other users
  • Copy, modify, resell, or redistribute learning content or parts of the service without permission
  • Use automated systems to access the service without authorization

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Lessons, exercises, audio, text, graphics, and software in Parloy belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them for your own language learning.

You keep ownership of content you create or submit in the app, such as answers, notes, or recordings. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate, secure, and improve the service for you.

7. Advertising and Analytics

Parloy uses Google Analytics for Firebase as well as the Meta and TikTok SDKs to measure app usage, attribute installs, and deliver and measure advertising. Where required, we ask for your permission before tracking, including through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change your choice at any time in your iOS settings. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and Availability

  • The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.
  • Availability is not guaranteed and may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or issues outside our control.
  • We are not responsible for third-party services, links, or content.

9. Termination

You may stop using Parloy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create legal or security risks. Statutory rights, including consumer rights, remain unaffected.

10. Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for Parloy or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. These terms are between you and us only.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled. By using Parloy, you acknowledge that your data will be processed as described there.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes may be announced in the app, by email, or on this page. Continued use of Parloy after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence provide otherwise.
